What You'll Do
- Architect & Deploy FPGA-based solutions for ultra-low-latency data parsing and order execution
- Collaborate closely with traders and software engineers to translate strategic requirements into real-time hardware logic
- Optimize performance at every level, from transceiver tuning to pipeline design and logic placement
- Develop robust testing frameworks to simulate, validate, and ensure reliability in production systems
- Benchmark & Profile FPGA performance in live trading environments for continual improvement
- Explore & Integrate emerging hardware technologies to sharpen our latency and throughput advantage
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA/ASIC design, ideally in financial markets or exchange protocol environments (FIX, OUCH, ITCH)
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
- Strong programming skills in Python, C, or C++
- Deep understanding of digital design principles: pipelining, flow control, clock domain crossing
- Skilled with FPGA development toolchains (Vivado, Quartus, Synplify, etc.)
- Proven track record of optimizing for low latency and high throughput in production systems
- Familiarity with networking protocols such as Ethernet, TCP, UDP
